In track I was a long jumper and short distance runner. One year, I was the alternate in the 4X800 meter and we made it to the Junior Olympics. I did not want to run the 800! Ezekial encouraged me to run. He told me that I just may like it. We ended up placing 5th in the Nation that year. Throughout High School we played against each other, me as WR and Zeek at DB. In our senior year, we played against each other twice. We would talk smack to each other and so would our Moms lol. It was always love because we went to church together! Zeek was always encouraging and positive. He smiled and laughed all the time. Zeek I’m going to miss you but I promise to give it my all this year, on and off the field.
